Music Monday: "Bruised Water"

I heard this little number while shopping in Forever 21 the other day, and I haven't stopped listening to it since.  I don't care who you are or what kind of music you're into, sometimes all you need is a good dance anthem to get your day started right, and Natasha Bedingfield and Chicane's "Bruised Water" is a GREAT dance anthem.

Check out the song below:

"Losing Weight, Feeling Great": Assam Fruit

A little birdie told me that there's a new dietary supplement which is about to explode onto the weight-loss scene in the next few months, and get this -- it ACTUALLY WORKS!

The product is called Leptisol, and the active ingredient in the supplement is Assam fruit, which is said to become the new Acai berry.  Assam fruit converts body fat into energy, which helps you lose weight, controls your appetite, and gives you lots of added energy throughout the day!

Apparently, the study groups for this weight loss supplement have been extremely successful, participants losing up to 5 pounds in the first week and reporting an increase in energy and happiness!

So keep an eye out for Assam (also spelled Asam) fruit, and remember you heard it here first!!!

TGIF: Remixed Luda to Start the Weekend

Not kidding, this is one of the best remixes I've heard in a long time.  I don't know why, it's just super fun to listen to!

Check out Bird Peterson's remix of Ludacris's newest single "How Low" below:

(If it's too slow of a buildup for you in the beginning, skip ahead to about the 1:05 mark when the beat drops...it's perfection!)

Do you love or do you love?

WHOA: Lady Gaga & Beyonce's "Telephone" Music Vid

While I usually love me some Lady Gaga, I'm not too sure how I feel about this one.

I've been waiting for the music video for "Telephone" to come out since December when I first heard the song, and now that it's here, I'm not all that excited anymore.

I mean, there's no doubt that by cinematical standards, the video is amazing.  Everything Gaga does is always a huge, innovative production, and that's great in its own right.  However, it's pretty hard to deny the fact that Beyonce cannot act for her life, and for me she kind of ruins the video.

What I do love though, is that Lady Gaga is single-handedly bringing back REAL music videos, and proving that they are still relevant in our culture today.  I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one who ran home after school so she could catch Carson Daly and the top 10 music videos that day on MTV's TRL.

ANYWAY, what are your thoughts on the vid?
